For just $10 a month, you can support our mission to eliminate trash bags from the foster care system. For every $10 donated, a Comfort XL duffel bag will be given to a child entering foster care. We started our Comfort XL program in 2017 after receiving a generous donation from Samsonite and The Ellen Show. A Comfort XL is a 32” duffel bag that truly replaces the need for a trash bag. Many children receive both a Comfort Case and a Comfort XL.

We depend on your donations to make sure we have everything we need to pack each Comfort Case. Our Amazon Wish List is updated weekly with the items we are currently running low on. Whether you have $10 to spend or $100, your donation of an item from our Wish List will make a big difference for a child entering foster care.
Hope Boxes for Our Scholarship Winners
A component of the Comfort Cases Scholarship Program is to provide monthly Hope Boxes to each Scholarship recipient. A Hope Box is a care package sent as a form of encouragement packed with essentials, treats and a gift card to support students in their new chapter.

We put this saying on a variety of products so you can spread the message of kindness while supporting children in foster care. For every purchase made in our “Gifts that Give Back” shop, items will be given to children in foster care.
Volunteer
If you’re local, come volunteer at our national center in Gaithersburg, Maryland! We always need help sorting donations, counting inventory, and of course packing Comfort Cases to send to children in foster care. All ages are welcome to join us – we love to see kids helping kids! We have Open Hours slots available for individuals and small groups at various times throughout the week. Larger groups can reserve a time on our sign up sheet or reach out to us to make arrangements.
Host A Facebook Fundraiser
We love Facebook fundraisers because they allow our supporters to spread the word about Comfort Cases while raising money to help us impact more children in foster care. Facebook is also the only online platform that gives 100% of funds raised to nonprofits. We pay no fees – if you raise $100 on Facebook, Comfort Cases will receive $100.
